The Kunming National Economic and Technological Development Zone (KETDZ), first established in1992, has undergone nine years of developmental construction. As an opening forecast, there has been rapid economic development, and the investment environment has been consistently excellent, the zone already becoming a pioneering hotspot for investment in Yunnan.
In the new century, where there will be both opportunities and difficulties, the KETDZ will comply with the developmental guiding principles of "Industrial projects, attracting foreign investment and export of goods as fundamentals, and devotion to the development of new advanced technology". It will also serve as a focus for Yunnan Province's conceptual framework of constructing "The Great Province of green economics and ethnic minority culture, and the international passage to Southeast Asia and the Pacific", carving out and creating a base area for the development of natural resources and new and advanced technological innovation.
KETDZ looks forward to friendly and normal foreign and domestic cooperation at all levels, and mutual development!
