Caohejing Hi-tech Park Pujiang Sub park is jointly invested by Minhang District and
Shanghai Caohejing Hi-tech Park Development Company. Located in Pujiang Town, it has a planning area of 8.3 km2. Caohejing Hi-tech Park Pujiang Sub park is 17.5km away from the People's Square and it only takes 15 minutes to drive there. It takes less than 30minutes to drive to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (21kmaway), Shanghai Pudong international Airport (38km), Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway and Shanghai Railway Station. It is 10km away from Guangang Harbor and 48 km away from Luchaogang arbor, the largest container harbor in Asia At present, the infrastructure construction and several projects in the sub park have been formally started.
To satisfy the requirements of the rapidly increasing export amount of the hi-tech product, Caohejing Export Processing Zone is going to be established in the sub park with a planning area of 1 km 2 for the 1st phase and 2 km 2 for the 2nd phase. Approved by the State Council in March. 2003, Caohejing Export Processing Zone will be constructed into an export processing base for hi-tech products with excellent investment environment, high-quality enterprises and large export volume.
