●Groundbreaking architect and trendsetting designer Bodil Kjaer is a piece of living history. Trained in the Danish Modern school of design, her work began attracting attention in the 1960's, with her sublimely simple office furniture. BK Worktable ●Originally designed by Bodil Kjaer in 1959, and accurately manufactured by Hothouse's own artisans, these elegant tables are fashioned out of Ash, Walnut and Rosewood, set atop Kjaer's signature square, stainless steel legs. The thick desk tops conceal four useful drawers, while maintaining the clean design lines which make them famous. Drawers ●The Worktable comes with 4 interchangeable drawers and is available with central locks or individual locks. Veneer ●Worktables are available in Ash, Walnut and Rosewood veneer with 3 coatings of polyurethane lacquer. (No price difference in the different veneers). Metal Parts ●Keyholes, handles, locks and leg frame are all made in solid stainless steel, with a hair line brushed finish. Size--Worktable ●H 71 W 92 L 184 cm. Packaging Each item is individually packed in special designed plywood boxes with build in shock resistant pads, to ensure maximum protection during transportation, making them suitable for LCL delivery. Package sizes--Worktable ●H 35 cm W 114 cm L 205 cm and H 40 cm W 82 cm L 120 cm (work table packaging is separated into two parts due to weight and handling issues).
