●Mogens Andersen was educated as an architect from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen. He graduated in 1964 with a specialization in furniture design. Throughout his life he remained interested in furniture design and designed many pieces of furniture. Mogens Andersen Chair ●Mogens Andersen Chair was designed in 1954 where it won a prize in the Cabinetmakers Autumn Exhibition and was following produced by Cabinetmaker Arne Poulsen for Alta Form. With its elegantly curving shape of the shell, carried with four centred legs, the Mogens Andersen shell chair appears as a unique shell chair from this period with its clear expression of structure and seat. Now more than 50 years later Hothouse design relances this chair which is still super modern. Product Details ●The seat of the chair is made of 10 mm Bentwood, American Ash Veneer and with legs of solid Ash wood that can be detached, easing transportation.
