2. Minitom is a small, low-speed, precision cut-off machine for sectioning all types of materials.
3. Maximum specimen size: 30 mm dia.
4. The cut ting speed is continuously variable and the motor is designed to ensure that the selected speed remains constant at any load.
5. The required specimen size can be set with an accuracy of + 0.01 mm, by means of a micrometer screw, and the cut ting pressure can be selected in de pendent of the weight of the specimen.
6. The motor is equipped with a thermal over load protection although prior to actually switching out an overload-indicator pro vides a visual warning that either the cutting procedure should be stopped or the cutting pressure should be reduced.
7. Minitom can be adjusted to stop cut-Small, automatic precision cut-off machine for sectioning all materialographic and ceramic specimens ting at any stage of the operation,
e.g. when the material has just been sliced through.
8. The cutting process is liquid cooled with the cooling liquid draining back continuously into the coolant tank.
