Plane Thrust Ball Bearings
●Thrust ball bearings are divided into single and double direction designs.
●The single direction bearings can only be used to carry axial load in one direction and limit the axial displacement in single direction.
●The double direction bearings can be used to carry axial loads in both directions and limit the axial displacements in both directions.
●Neither can carry radial loads.
●This type of bearings is suitable for applications where the rotational speed is lower.
●In order to prevent detrimental movement between roller and raceway caused by centrifugal force during bearing in high speed, the requisite minimum axial load should be applied.
